THE ROOTS OF IT ALL

During the tours, we will see and discuss:
  • the history of urban landscaping in the city, iconic plants and small architectural forms of Novi Sad,
  • the transformation of urban spaces, the revitalization of former industrial areas, and how functions and meanings change along with the city,
  • current ecological projects and the challenges faced by urban greening,
  • invasive species that threaten the local ecosystem and human health,
  • what biodiversity is, why it matters for cities, and how we can support it,
  • and finally, should we control nature in the city?
Collaborations
These tours were inspired by the Plantwatching project, founded by geobotanist Irina Varganova in St. Petersburg, and developed in collaboration with historian Elvira Ibragimova, a specialist in the history of Central and Southeast Europe.
The tours are supported by the DIAS community of designers and architects in Serbia with the Telegram channel @interiorserbia.
About me

I specialize in designing public spaces from concept to implementation, with a focus on creating play and educational areas while combining practical work with a research-driven approach.
In 2022, after moving to Serbia with my family, I began exploring local ecosystems and urban landscape. Over time, I wanted to share this knowledge and build connections with like-minded individuals.

Tour registration is now available:
